Our Mutual Funds

Pender is pleased to offer investors four funds that can be purchased through a registered investment advisor or mutual fund dealer.

Pender Balanced Fund invests in a balanced portfolio of equity securities of dividend paying Canadian and international corporations and  investment and non-investment grade fixed income securities of North American corporations. The fund’s objective is to preserve capital and generate returns through dividend income, dividend growth, interest income and capital appreciation.

Pender Canadian Equity Fund invests in equity securities of dividend paying Canadian corporations. The Fund’s objective is to preserve capital and generate returns through dividend income, dividend growth and capital appreciation.

Pender Corporate Bond Fund invests in investment and non-investment grade fixed income securities of North American corporations. The Fund's objective is to preserve capital and generate returns through current income and capital appreciation.

Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund invests in a concentrated portfolio of well-managed businesses, with strong competitive positions, which are overlooked by the market and have the potential for significant capital appreciation.

Other Funds

Pender Growth Fund (VCC) Inc. is a later stage, diversified, venture capital corporation, focused on under-valued public companies.  This fund is only available in BC, where investors are eligible to receive a cash-back tax credit of 30% from the BC government for investments up to $200,000.  Pender Growth Fund is currently closed.
