Pender Growth Fund is a later stage, diversified, venture capital corporation, focused on under-valued public companies. This fund is only available in BC, where investors are eligible to receive a cash-back tax credit of 30% from the BC government for investments up to $200,000.

Staus of Redemptions

The Fund honored 100% of redemption requests submitted prior to January 8th, 2010. At that time, the Fund announced that it is adopting a revised procedure for the redemption of shares. Although the Fund has significant cash reserves to make investments, it may not have sufficient funds to honor all redemption requests when presented, as redemptions may only be made from proceeds of the sale of investments and other restrictions imposed by the B.C. Small Business Venture Capital Act.

In response, the Fund has proposed a new structure to provide additional liquidity options to its shareholders.
