The strategy of Pender Small Cap Opportunities Fund is to invest in a concentrated portfolio of well-managed businesses, with strong competitive positions, which are overlooked by the market and have the potential for significant capital appreciation.

These carefully selected investments allow the Fund to take advantage of the inefficiencies of small cap markets. There is a pool of promising companies that go unnoticed. This impacts their valuation so that when their growth potential is recognized, their market value undergoes a long overdue upward correction in value.
