Amanda Patterson CPA, CA

Amanda joined Pender in 2018 and is Pender’s Chief Compliance Officer and VP of Finance.

Amanda has over 15 years of international accounting experience in the financial services industry. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Assurance Practice. Amanda has had diverse client experience in both the alternative and registered asset management industry which included working in Toronto, Canada, Sydney, Australia and New York. In 2014, Amanda joined Prospect Capital Management, based out of New York, as the lead controller focusing on a $650+ million portfolio of online consumer and small and medium sized enterprise loans and securitized assets. Amanda moved back to her hometown of Vancouver in 2018 and joined Pender as our Director of Finance. She has been instrumental in the development of the Pender’s financial operations function, from financial reporting to operational controls through its period of growth.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, from Wilfrid Laurier University. She articled with PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Chief Compliance Officer Qualifying Examination through the Canadian Securities Institute.

When Amanda isn’t busy keeping up with her young family she enjoys skiing and can often be found in Whistler during the winter season.
