Sara Embury

Sara is responsible for managing retail sales across British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Calgary. In addition to her wholesaling duties, she leads Pender’s retail sales efforts for Western Canada.

Sara began her career in the financial services industry while attending university, where she discovered a strong passion for investing and client service. Before joining Pender, she held several roles at a leading Canadian bank, gaining valuable experience across multiple areas in the industry.

She holds a Bachelor of Management with Honours from the UBC Sauder School of Business and is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). She has also completed numerous courses through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Outside of work, Sara is an avid competitive horseback rider and regularly competes across North America. She also enjoys road cycling, strength training and exploring new destinations around the world.
