Philip Stafford

Philip Stafford joined Pender in February 2022 in the role of Senior Trader. 

Phil has spent over 40 years in equity, fixed income and derivative markets, and has extensive knowledge and experience leading equity trading and customer relations/service teams. Phil joins Pender after seven years as SVP Global Equity Trader at a leading investment management boutique and wealth management firm in Canada. Prior to that he spent eight years as Managing Director – VP of Trading at a global asset management firm and eight years as Managing Director – Head of Equity Trading at a leading Canadian asset management firm. Prior experience includes sell side roles at investment banking firms.

In 2004, Phil completed the Canadian Securities Institute’s Partners, Directors, and Senior Officers (PDO) certification.

Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren and managing his cattle farm.
